Speech Therapy

Speech therapy at LECOM Health Corry Memorial Hospital is provided by an experienced, certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.  Speech therapy is designed to help people with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.  People with communication disorders are young, old and in-between.  Their problems may have existed from birth or resulted from disease or accident.  Speech therapy services at Corry Memorial Hospital are designed to meet these communication needs and are provided to inpatients and outpatients for a variety of communication and swallowing disorders.  Operating hours are typically Monday thru Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Therapy usually consists of 45 minute sessions 1-2 times a week for outpatients.  A comprehensive rehab program will be coordinated for children and adults who also require occupational or physical therapy.
